Marissa Wojtala – CPT

Marissa is a certified personal trainer and CPR/AED certified through the American Red Cross.
She was raised in Broadview Heights Ohio where she attended Brecksville Broadview Heights High School. There, she was a four-year cheerleader and played travel soccer through her junior year. After her soccer league ended, she began running daily at the Broadview Heights Rec Center, where she eventually found a new passion for weightlifting.

After she graduated she attended Cuyahoga Community College where she finished her associate’s degree in applied science at dean’s list level. During this time Marissa also interned with Prescription Fitness and ultimately obtained her personal training certification through W.I.T.S(World Instructors Training School). She is currently pursuing a degree at Cleveland State University in health science. Marissa believes that the Prescription Fitness model of diet tracking and consistent workouts are the best approaches towards reaching fitness goals, as she herself has lost twenty-two pounds over the past year using these methods.

For clients, Marissa keeps training sessions upbeat and fun while also pushing individuals close to or past their perceived level of limitations. In Marissa’s spare time she enjoys camping, photography and taking her black lab for walks.
