Sal Corrao Prescription FitnessSal is a resident of Avon, Ohio, graduated St. Edward High School ‘13 and John Carroll University ‘17 and is currently pursuing a graduate degree from John Carroll. He wrestled at St. Ed’s where he was a 3 year varsity letter winner, awarded the Student-Athlete award for highest GPA on the team, and was a State Qualifier in his senior season at 113lbs. At JCU he was a 4 year letter winner, 3x Academic All-American, 3x all OAC team, and 3x regional placewinner, 2x at 133lbs and once at 141lbs. Going from 113lbs as a senior in high school to 141lbs as a senior in college it was clear that he was a late bloomer.

Having learned from the best up front he stayed at it until he realized tremendous gains over time. Sal has found a passion for fitness from being trained by the legendary Joe Terebieniec, who trained Joe Butler himself, and watching his dad train when he was younger. He has an expertise in training for speed, strength, and power in athletic performance with a wide knowledge base of nutrition and weight management from competing at a national level as a wrestler for 8 years. With this he hopes to guide people to their overall fitness goals in order to lead a healthier lifestyle.

His favorite quote is from Henry David Thoreau: “All endeavor calls for the ability to tramp the last mile, shape the last plan, endure the last hours toil. The fight to the finish spirit is the one characteristic we must posses if we are to face the future as finishers,”
