Meet Dr. Meg Kalsy, a clinical data scientist at the US Department of Veterans Affairs and an adjunct assistant professor at the Francis Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Kalsy’s busy lifestyle, coupled with her sedentary work routine and health conditions, led her on a quest for a healthier and more active lifestyle about a year ago.

Personalized Training, Lasting Results: How Dr. Kalsy Found Success and Balance

Struggling with the stress of her demanding job and facing various health issues, Dr. Kalsy knew she needed to make a change. She sought care from the Cleveland Clinic to improve her health and lose weight, but she also wanted to take her fitness journey a step further.

Motivated by her recent weightless and desire to keep the progress moving forward, Dr. Kalsy decided to contact us for personalized training. Despite having a gym membership with Planet Fitness, she found herself constantly procrastinating and struggling to stick to a routine. We were able to provide the structure and motivation she needed to stay on track with her fitness goals.

Reflecting on her fitness journey, Dr. Kalsy describes her workouts with us as rejuvenating “spa sessions.” Not only does she feel physically refreshed after each session, but her mental well-being also receives a significant boost. The workouts help her manage stress and improve her focus, ultimately enhancing her performance at work.

Starting with just one session a week, Dr. Kalsy gradually increased her training frequency to three times a week as she experienced the positive impact on her health and well-being. Despite the initial concerns about the cost of personal training, she now views it as a worthwhile investment in her health and quality of life.

What’s next for Dr. Kalsy?

Looking ahead, Dr. Kalsy’s fitness goals for the next year include maintaining her active lifestyle as she plans to grow her family. She also aims to continue her fitness journey by staying consistent with her workouts, making healthier dietary choices, and striving to lose more weight.
